Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Millie is a sweet Belgian Shepherd who is who is very good with people and other dogs. She is leash trained, about 3 yrs old and housebroken. Poor Millie was left tied to a tree and abandoned when her former owners moved to CA.
Millie has congenital dysplasia in both rear legs - essentially she has no hip sockets. This is a painful condition that will require ortho surgery to correct. FOCCAS is working to raise the $2000 needed to fix her legs. Most importantly, we are seeking an adopter who is willing to see this loving girl thru the 3 - 5 month “rehab” period after each surgery.
Please consider a donation in any amount to "Millie's Fund".
Donations (payable to FOCCAS, Inc) may be dropped off @ the shelter or mailed to PO Box 641 Inverness, Fl 34451
Interested parties can call 352-201-8664 for more info on adopting Millie, the surgeries and what her rehab entails.
