I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Rocker is a young male Pit Bull. We think he is about one year old, give or take a month or two. He was found outside of Austin on New Year’s Eve night. This young fellow is a happy-go-lucky guy who likes to greet and say hello to all the other Shelter dogs when he’s walking by their pens. He has shown a very calm and laid back demeanor so far. Rocker also has been very kind and gentle to people that he has met at the Shelter. He keeps his kennel clean so that’s a good prelude to successful housetraining. We have no idea how he would do with cats and no way of finding that out. He is about 50 pounds right now and is full grown. While Rocker is very calm, he is a muscular guy who will need an ample amount of regular exercise. Rocker is neutered and up to date with all vaccinations. His adoption fee is $125. We utilize a short adoption application form to assess compatibility between dogs and their prospective homes. This form is a simple one-sided Microsoft Word document and it can be e-mailed to you upon request. If you would like to receive the form via e-mail, or if you have any other questions, please send us an e-mail message.
Our Shelter is open to the public for animal viewing on Sundays from 2PM to 4PM and on Tuesdays from 4:30PM to 6PM. The Shelter building is located at 101 22nd Street SE in Austin, Minnesota. This is at the farthest east point of Oakland Avenue East in Austin, just to the east of Charter Communications.
