Stevie here. I am a 3 year old blind dachshund/cairn terrier mix. I was born without optical nerves. My sister and I ended up dumped at the shelter where she was put down because she had the same condition that I do. Fortunately, my rescue friends got there before the same thing happened to me. I need a family who is patient and kind and who has the time to help me adjust to a new environment. It would be great if I could find a special family who is either experienced with blind dogs, or who is willing to take time to get me into a routine. Could that be you?
