Kenzie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Kenzie's Story...
Kenzie and her 8 litter-mates were dropped off at a local business by their owner when they were 10 weeks old. (they were born September 20th). The owner said that she could not afford to feed them. Our rescue was contacted and they have been with us ever since.

Kenzie is up to date on vaccinations and spayed. She currently weighs 16 pounds. She loves to play with and chase the other puppies. All of the puppies in this litter are very sweet. Kenzie is starting to play with her bigger foster sister. She also is playing fetch and enjoys sitting alongside you on the couch. She is starting to learn some commands (sit, down, paw).

If you are interested in adopting Kenzie or any of her litter-mates, please contact Cherished K-9 All Breed Rescue for an adoption application.

Born: September 20, 2013

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenzie, a Las Cruces Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
