Gin's Story...
Gin, Tonic, Brown Sugar, Coco, and Vanilla all were abandoned on the side of the road where a volunteer picked them up. Three of the puppies look like golden retriever mixes with the golden "feathering"on the back of their legs, and two look like complete mutts. They are all very social and sweet but came in skinny, missing hair, covered in fleas, and in horrible condition. They are about 9 weeks old and on the road to recovery and ready for their forever homes.

They are fixed, chipped, UTD on shots, dewormed, flea treated, come with 30 days of free insurance and a free exam. Adoption fee is $275. Please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gin, a Lewis Center Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewis Center, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Lewis Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewis Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewis Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewis Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
