Dandilyon's Story...
Hi, I am Dandilyon. I am just a year old (as of January 2014) and weigh about 20 pounds. I am a beautiful blonde! I love to snuggle, and I love treats. I am young so I need some basic training, especially not pulling on the leash. But if you are a jogger or have a backyard I will run with you for days. My family hit some hard times and could no longer afford to care for me, so I am looking for a new forever home. I am very sweet, and I am just looking for a lot of love! I hope that you will come down to meet me, and take me home with you.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dandilyon, a Cambridge Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
