My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kellan is a 5-6 year old Dogo Argentino. She lived a hard life on the streets in Houston's 5th Ward. She appears to have been overbred for many years and was possibly a fighting or bait dog based on the scars she has on her face and legs. She is a VERY sweet girl who just wants to be with her people and be close to them at all times. She does well with male dogs as long as they show NO signs of aggression towards her as she is reactive to it. Due to the hard life she endured for far too long she is heartworm positive but is currently on the slow kill treatment for it and she has bi-lateral hip dysplasia but does not need to be on medication daily for it yet. She is potty trained and crate trained also. I cannot explain in words just how much she LOVES people of all ages and would make a wonderful addition to someone's family.
