My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When you look into my eyes--deep into my eyes--you will say --I want to adopt this dog--.

Did it work? You need to know more about me first? OK, well here are a few things about me. First, I am a Beagle mix, and you know what Beagles like to do, right? PLAY! Yep, love to play. Now I'm not one of those hyper types. I am a young dog, but have a nice medium level of energy. Everyone says that is the best energy level for a dog :) If you have a cat--and actually like your cat--I would probably not fit in your home, because, well, I AM a Beagle! I chase cats!

What else do I like? Trips to the dog park--yay! Other dogs-yay! Kids-yay! Walks--yay! OK, I might be a teensy bit of a puller on walks. OK maybe more than a teensy bit, but no one has ever worked with me on that. I know I can do better with leash walking. I am also learning the joys of --sit--. For some strange reason if I sit when asked to, my foster dad gives me a treat! I like treats--yay!

My foster dad says that I must have a fenced yard because like most Beagles, I follow my nose--there are so many interesting things to smell! And sometimes they are 10 blocks away! So, yes, gotta have a fence. When I am done playing and exploring, I love to snuggle up with my foster dad. Maybe you would like to snuggle with me too? You know, you wouldn't even have to share your bed with me, because I'm used to sleeping in a dog bed on the floor. I know, pretty awesome, right?

Oh, know what else? I am crate-trained! I'm pretty sure I have a certificate to prove it. I am completely house-trained, too!

So to review, young dog with a medium level of energy, who loves to play with other dogs, loves to go for walks, loves to snuggle and wants sooooo much to find my new home. I hope that's you???!!

This dog’s adoption fee is $225. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad Cities.
