Cutie's Story...
We miss our mom…

Cutie and Tabby are feeling lost and confused right now. Their human mom passed away and these two senior cats were relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility (ACF).

On top of being sad about losing their human and their home, they are bewildered about life at the ACF.

Both cats are very sweet and gentle. Cutie has a bit more confidence than Tabby, but she is gaining more trust and confidence every day. They both enjoy pets and after spending some time petting them you may hear a soft purr, be treated to an elevated butt and be rewarded with sweet eyes. There is no doubt that these cats have been loved and have returned love in full and will do so once again when they are rescued into a home.

Life at the ACF is not suited to these two felines, so we are looking for either an immediate foster home or a quick adoption.

Do you want to help rescue these two wonderful cats? Please consider fostering or adopting them to help them get over their grief and to be happy once again.

You can arrange to meet Cutie and Tabby by calling Bob at 619-840-9727.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Cutie and Tabby, you must first complete a Cat Adoption or Foster Application and meet with a PAWS of Coronado Cat Adoption Counselor. These applications may be completed online.

If you have any questions, please call Bob at 619-840-9727.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cutie, a Coronado Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Coronado, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Coronado.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coronado already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coronado breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coronado paves the way for another one to be saved.
