My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Savannah is a special 5 year old Boxer and Pit Bull mix who got a rough start in life. She entered a local shelter with a severely embedded collar and needed time to heal from her physical wounds as well as to work on socialization with humans. Savannah is now extremely healthy and she has bonded with her foster parents and is so affectionate and loving with them. Savannah does need to be given time to warm up to strangers as she is fearful of them at first. She enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood but is still not a big fan of car rides. Savannah enjoys playing with small dogs and puppies and currently lives with a small dog and other occasional fosters. She prefers easy-going and playful dogs who are smaller in size. She would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard for safety as she does startle easily. Savannah is such a loving girl who becomes very attached to her people once she feels comfortable in a new environment. If you think you might like to become Savannah’s family, her foster mom would be glad to speak with you and tell you more about her.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $250, which includes vaccinations up to date, spay/neuter, and microchip. All of our dogs of proper age/health are on monthly heartworm and flea preventatives while in our care.
