Ladybug's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Ladybug's Story...
This gorgeous southern gal is incredibly sweet and friendly to every person/child she meets. We rescued her from a gassing shelter in NC where she escaped with her life in the nick of time! She had come in as a stray and clearly had pups in the not-so-distant past. Probably another case of being bred and discarded by some cruel human. :(

Ladybug is mostly Plott Hound (maybe some Lab), about 1 1/2 years old, 50lbs, house-trained, and eager to learn/be a good girl. Despite us being told differently, she is not friendly towards other dogs. She would do terrific in a home/with a family with a back yard, outside the city, where she could have outdoor time and room to play. She's a beautiful dog and would be a wonderful companion. She just needs to be the only dog.

Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ladybug, a Brooklyn Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
