CRT Patrick's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

CRT Patrick's Story...
Patrick is a 3 yr old male. He was in a home for several months and was doing very well with the small dog and children.

Patrick was lying down, eyes closed when the dad leaned over him to pet him. Patrick came up and caught him with his eye teeth leaving two small puncture spots.

Patrick will need to be in foster care in order to be evaluated and temperament tested. He has done very well and is a very happy boy.

The x-racing Greyhounds are being fostered in our private homes. We teach them about living as a family member with lots of love and a few rules. Check out our website, www.greyhoundrescue.org to obtain additional information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CRT Patrick, a Knoxville Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
