My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HUNTER is an adorable boy, possibly a hound/cattle dog mix. He is one year old and is just a lovebug. He is a great medium size and he is loving, loyal and just beautiful!

Hunter is a shy boy when he meets new people at first, but he has bonded beautifully with his foster family and all the staff at his favorite doggy day care. He is a dog that does best with another dog in the household. Although he is a quiet dog, he LOVES walks and playing outside. He adores other dogs and he's crate trained. Hunter quickly learns boundaries (i.e. which areas of the house not to go into), is house trained, and he has a good healthy appetite but isn't a begger. He loves to romp with other dogs; he's extremely social and this brings out the best in him. Overall Hunter's just a big goofy love bug hoping for a forever home soon.

Hunter will only be adopted into a home with another dog, and a loving patient family who will take care of him forever!

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
