Shadow 1A68's Story...
This is Shadow, a one year old Labrador Retriever blend. Shadow came to us as an owner surrender due to a residence change, where her owners could no longer keep her. She is a very energetic, friendly and playful girl. She loves children and most other dogs. However, if you have another dog at home, she would prefer to meet them before going home to them. She does know how to sit on command and play fetch; continuing obedience training with her would be a great bonding experience and very good for her! Pick Shadow if you're looking for a very smart, loyal and high energy companion. She is microchipped, spayed, heartworm tested and vaccinated

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow 1A68, a Columbus Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
