My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava! Ava is a sweet natured, affectionate girl, about 6 years old, who loves walks and love from her human. She does well with other dogs of all sizes, but can also be just as happy independently as she is not a big player. Ava loves to play with tennis balls as she tosses them around and plays fetch. She is very food motivated, so training has been a snap. She came to us overweight and in need of an eye removal. she has since adapted quite well to the eye and is losing the weight!
Because of the eye, perhaps older kids would be better for Ava.


NOTE: Ava is being fostered in the southwest suburbs, IL
