I am a young ( 9 months old), altered Lab mix whose momma is part Husky. I have a calm, gentle, and sweet disposition. I love to be with my human, I know how to use a dog door, and I sit on command for treats and dinner. I have interacted well with children (including a very active toddler), and I get along well with other dogs. Contact huskyhaventx@earthlink.net

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Kingwood Labrador Retriever/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Husky for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Husky dog from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
