Grady's Story...
We would like to explain that if you are looking for a perfect dog, they are rarely found in rescue. Our dogs often have unknown histories and we do our very best to evaluate each dog with kids, cats, and other dogs as well as determine how they behave in a home. It is important to understand that we have some specific criteria for each dog based on their backgrounds and input from their foster families. The purpose of these criteria is to better match each dog with an appropriate family. While a certain dog might appeal to you based on breed, size, gender or appearance, you may not match the listed criteria. Please understand that we are not trying to make adoption difficult—we are trying to make each adoption successful for the dog and the new family.

PLEASE CLICK ON "READ MORE ABOUT THIS PET" FOR COMPLETE INFORMATION!

If you have children, we suggest that prior to applying for a dog, you view the website http://www.livingwithkidsanddogs.com. The information is excellent and can help you determine which dog would be right for your family.

Grady is an adorable beagle/shepherd mix who was rescued from a shelter. He is so friendly and loves everyone. Grady is great with dogs, cats, and kids who are 10 and older as he tends to jump up sometimes. He especially likes to play outside with the school aged kids in his foster home but he is also a champion cuddler. If you are looking for a smaller sized dog, Grady will fit the bill. He is 10 months old and 40 pounds. His fur is very soft and he just loves to be petted. Grady is a wonderful family dog who is house trained and crate trained. He is with a 501c3 rescue. His adoption fee is $300.00 to cover his neuter, heartworm test and on prevention, is up to date on shots for parvo, distemper and rabies, has been wormed and he has a HomeAgain microchip. Grady is a friendly, easy going boy who would really love a home of his own!

To ensure that this dog thrives in his new home and that the adoption works out for the dog and your family, these are the requirements for adoption. These criteria are not negotiable. If you do not meet these criteria, please choose another dog that will work out better for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grady, a Osseo Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
