Finley's Story...
Meet Finley! A flat coated retriever mix, Finley is a bundle of healthy, happy energy ready to be a part of your active family. Finley hasn't had an easy start to her young life, but her sweet and gentle nature has enabled her to bounce back from a few of life's curve balls...hey, did anyone say BALL? Always ready to play, swim, or run, she is someone's perfect running companion. Finley loves her own space too, and crates easily while you are gone. She is fully potty trained, and knows some basic commands, but could still benefit from a forever home that could work with her keen intelligence and continue her good manner skills.
Finley has been good with other dogs and cats, and would be best with children old enough to help her meet her high activity level needs. She is not a lap dog, but will rest quietly at your feet, or not so quietly to make sure she gets her belly rubbed! Finley is happiness wrapped in fur! When she wags her tail and smiles her beautiful smile at you, you will be smitten! You might even take up running!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finley, a Coppell Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
