Gidget's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gidget's Story...
Est 10 months old, spayed female, Brown/gray/black tabby. Gidget was found in the parking lot of McDonald's in Mims looking for something to eat in all the trash in the parking lot. Her foster mom lured her away from the dangerous parking lot to give her some real cat food and Miss Nancy came to the rescue with a carrier. The rest is history. She got spayed immediately and has been at PetSmart once and was absolutely WONDERFUL with everyone. She is a very sweet, laid back older kitten that would love to be a part of a caring family that won't send her to McDonald's for her dinner.

Contact SandyGmeow@aol.com for adoption info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gidget, a Cocoa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cocoa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cocoa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cocoa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cocoa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cocoa paves the way for another one to be saved.
