Happy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Happy's Story...
Although I can be a little shy at first, I warm up quickly and then I am a super sweet and affectionate girl who enjoys attention. One of my all time favorite things is to get a belly rub. Since I am young, I am still learning all those great manners but I am fine with housetraining and walk on a leash nicely. Other dogs are fine with me and I like children too. My estimated adult weight is about 45 – 50 lbs. My edob is 7/13.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Houston Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
