My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is a circa 7 year old beefcake who is some mix of Boxer and pit. He has all the naughtiness and energy of a boxer, but with the adoration, mushiness and lapdog tendencies of a pit. Oh, and he's "special needs", because he's blind. But if you ask him, his special needs are 1) needs cheese, EVERY DAY. 2) needs to go running, EVERY DAY. 3) DEFINITELY needs you to answer that text message, rather than keep an eye on that roast chicken you just put on the counter. Yep, that's right, just turn your back for that one second... it's all he needs. 4) Needs you not to laugh at him when he takes his blue stuffy bear outside with him to go potty. There. Those are his special needs. Duke is circa 70lbs and great with other dogs. Probably no cats. Not super with strangers in the home, and not super in new circumstances... so needs a more experienced owner willing to be patient with his initial anxieties, and be rewarded with a 70lb marshmallow who looks at you with complete devotion! Duke is neutered, up to date on shots, knows "sit" and "shake".
