I am good with kids and good with dogs.

Tori's Story...
I was found in the land of plenty and stinky. I found a whole lot of food at the county dump, but well the conditions were not too great. So the Dog Warden came and got me. Now I get food that is actually healthy for me, water, and warm shelter. Such is the life. But you know what would make life better? Having a home of my own. I am a pretty laid back girl. Full of energy and love to give. They had me in the office for a while and I did great socializing with all of the different people. I am still a little scared here, since there are a lot of new sounds and smells, but I will get use to it. Come see me at the shelter today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tori, a Sidney Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Sidney, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sidney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sidney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sidney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sidney paves the way for another one to be saved.
