Hannah's Story...
When Hannah came to us in October she weighed in at 43 pounds. Not your typical stray that is pulled from our local shelters! Hannah is 6 years old, but has lots of energy. With exercise and a controlled diet, Hannah has done a great job of getting back in shape. She is now down to 35 pounds. She still has some more to lose from her 14 inch frame, but is well on her way. Maybe you could be the one to help her finish the job.

Not only does Hannah have a beautiful face, but she has a personality to match! She is full of energy and seeing her run around will bring a smile to your face. Even when she was at her heaviest, Hannah would join in on a rabbit chase with full enthusiasm! She gets along fine with the three beagle boys in her foster home, but would be happy to be an only dog.

As a 6 y/o, she has great house manners. Hannah is fully housebroken with a dog door. There are no issues with her getting into things she shouldn’t. Hannah is so sweet and loving that she will be an excellent addition to some lucky family. If you have a place in your heart and home for this wonderful girl, please apply today to meet her!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hannah, a Houston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Houston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
