Cirrus's Story...
Cirrus is a beautiful silver kitty with incredibly soft fur. Cirrus was born with partial eyelid agenesis, which means a part of his eyelids (in his case, about 1/4) is missing. At this point is completely fine and does not require special medication. Cirrus is still a bit shy but is coming into his own at our Cherokee location.

Cirrus was a smart little guy: he ran into a woman's house right before St. Louis was hit with 12 inches of snow in early January. He was taken in by St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach and transferred to Tenth Life. We saw that the similarities between Cirrus and an existing TL kitty, Nimbus, were undeniable and we suspect the boys might be related: after a little bit of investigating, we learned that both cats were found in the exact same neighborhood, but by different agencies.

We are pleased to say that these (suspected) brothers, Nimbus and Cirrus, have been reunited at our Cherokee storefront! Please consider bringing Cirrus and Nimbus home together so these two can continue their reunion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cirrus, a St. Louis Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
