My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody. My name is Dottie. I'm a darling little brindle girl with a natural tail and ears. I am currently in a foster home with two other boxers and having a great old time. We play a lot! I am still really a puppy as I was just born in October, 2012. I am small -- only 46 pounds - but healthy. I just went to the vet and she said I am in great shape. I am spayed, heart worm tested, and UTD on all my shots. I have a long tail, which is kind of unusual, but I like it.

I am crate-trained and about 95% house trained. I think I am fully trained; it's my mom that isn't! I know some commands and am learning more all the time. I have no food aggression and I love people of all sizes (though I haven't been around real little ones before). I've never been around cats, so my foster mom took me to visit some today and I thought they looked pretty yummy. It might be best if I went to a home that didn't have any small furry animals. And I am not too crazy about female dogs.. I would probably do best with a dominant, but not aggressive male dog. I wasn't sure about the guys here when I fist arrived, but in just a few days, I've learned that they're pretty fun to wrestle and play with. We play tag and tug 'o war, too. The younger guy and I are becoming best friends. We even cuddle now!

I love car rides, treats, toys, chase, and keep-away. In the evenings, I curl up and sleep near mom and when it's bedtime, I go nicely into my crate and sleep until morning.

If you're interested in adopting me, please apply at www.goboxerrescue.com and ask for me by name. I'm a sweet girl and will make a great family dog.
