Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Junebug is a beautiful, sweet, gentle and playful, 18-month-old, 40-pound, female, fawn and white pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Junebug arrived at Chicago Animal Care & Control in June when her human was arrested on drug and weapon charges. She was tied out in front with an old collar embedded in her neck. Luckily Junebug loves people and gets along with other dogs ... but barks at cats. Junebug loves to go on walks and car rides … She just loves to be with her people. She’s good with children, but would be best with kids over 12 years of age who can take part in her training. She already knows the commands sit, down, off and leave it. She loves balls and toys. She is 90% housebroken and will go to the door to let you know she has to go out. Junebug is extremely healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt Junebug, please contact her foster mom Megan at mgruger@gmail.com or 708-333-6988 or contact the rescue group at kbudrean@hotmail.com or 312-823-9930. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control.
