Hi friends my name is Miss Flossie, (call me Flossie for short), and my brother Henery. We are 5 years old. We are old enough to know better, but young enough to keep enjoying life. I consider myself quite svelte at 58 pounds with naturally blonde fur. My brother Henery, whom I love dearly, is a manly weight of 69 pounds, and that glossy black short fur. Believe it or not, we are littermates ;-) Our mother was a Golden and our father was a Labrador. I know it is hard to believe, but from the time we were pups to just recently, we were kept outside tied to a swing set. Thank goodness we had each other. Everyone knows that retrievers need human companionship. Well, one day the people who owned us told a lovely neighbor, who always looked out for us, that they were going to get rid of us. So our angel neighbor brought us to their home and contacted AGB. Sometimes we were outside in brutally bad weather, which was scary. Henery and I thank the angel neighbor every day for taking us to a vet - the rest is history. We went from a single angel, to many angels in the name of AGB. We have beds and get fed regularly and most important Henery and I are together. We are typical retrievers looking for a family to love unconditionally and to be loved back. No matter what the last five years have been like for us, we still have retriever hearts and will love our two legged humans.
