Rex's Story...
Hello my name is Rex. I'm 5 months old. I was outside with my siblings and my mom born from a stray cat. The nice woman did handle us, I am a little shy at first with being at the shelter its a VERY big change. It's a little scary but I was in a foster home for a little while and I do warm up just cuddle me and hold me and you'll see. I love to cuddle. It's best I don't go wit h small children because it will take me much longer to settle in because kids can be a bit overly excited. I've seen dogs outside one lived right behind were I was staying I never ran from the dog so I think dogs aren't bad as long as they're not hyper. Come see me and meet us. We all are very sweet just get to know us and have a little patience we'll be your best friends. Older children 12+ okay and calm dogs not hyper or that chase cats.

Act quickly to adopt Rex. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a West Warwick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in West Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in West Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
