Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pie is an older gent. He came to the rescue with pretty poor health but is on the road to recovery. He had a horrendous infection in his mouth, had to have most of his teeth removed, and is on a strong course of antibiotics. Pie must have had a pretty tough life – sometime in the past, his right eye must have ruptured and then healed. It causes him no pain, however he no longer has any vision from that eye, and his left eye has a cataract which means he has pretty poor vision. Pie is a sweet little boy, but because he has been so sick, we don’t have a true representation of his personality. He gets along fine with the other dogs in the household and really just seems to do his best to stay out of the way and not get stepped on! He seems to show no interest in cats at all. He will follow his foster mom from room to room and seems to enjoy being held and carried. Right now this little boy sleeps a lot – but once he is feeling better he may be a totally different little soul. Pie also has a grade 2/6 heart murmer , which at this time requires no medication.
