Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful English Redtick Coonhound female, born 9-13-06. This poor girl was left at a rural Indiana kill-shelter by previous "owners" because - she wouldn't hunt. Taken into rescue just in time - she was scheduled for euthanasia, her time there was up. Near 1 1/2 years old and weighing 52 pounds this happy girl is good with children, OK with most dogs, not real fond of cats. Short, velvet soft, red ticked, easy care coat. Nice companion dog. Coonhounds can be energetic outside, somewhat of a couch potato inside -- as they mature. Generally devoted family dogs. Best in large fenced yard for needed exercise & to keep within boundaries. They can / will follow a scent, oblivious to surroundings. Peggy Sue is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, de-wormed & groomed. Waiting for a permanent loving home. Adoption fee $140. More info to follow........
