Ace is a delightful and charming little Terrier mix boy that could have Schnauzer in him but most likely its Lakeland Terrier and will probably be about 40 pounds when fully grown. Currently this 5 month old, 20 pound boy is getting to know what life expects of him in the house and with his interaction with people. He promises to not disappoint you with his intelligence and his cunning games that he hopes to win when playing. He needs someone who is sure of their skills with training a dog and who will be his alpha and not his doormat. Smart dogs need even smarter people. Ace is good with other dogs that he knows he cannot push around...typical Terrier. He would love to play King of the mountain in the play yard but it is not a good thing if he wins every time. He would do well with some real dog training classes with a new owner and some true daily leash walking where he has to follow YOUR lead and not his own. Terriers can be the most delightful dogs in the world when they are kept in line and their energy and intelligence understood and handled properly. Ace is cute and he KNOWS IT! Really small children might not be able to understand his playful antics so we suggest a home with more mature people or teens.
