Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Apollo is a beautiful German Shepherd mix, about 6-7 years old and weighs 75 lbs. He’s not a puppy but his spirit is still that of a pup. Since being rescued from a shelter in the south, New England snow may be one of his favorite things. Apollo has excellent manners inside the house and is a social butterfly. He loves to meet new people, he’s good with other dogs and is very loyal to the people he loves the most. Having Apollo in your life is like having your favorite teddy bear with you at all times. He sleeps beside you contentedly, rides in the car without a peep, never leaves you behind on trail walks and is your softest pillow when watching TV. Being in rescue for a while and confined to crates and kennels (not Apollo’s first choice), he has worn down a front K-9 tooth and lost some of the fur on his nose from chewing on his prison bars. But nothing could ever detract from his dashing good looks and his friendly countenance. Apollo loves to play fetch, wrestle with other dogs and still has plenty of years ahead of him for fun. He’s not a lazy old dog yet, as far as he is concerned, life has just begun. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
