MEET Miss Sarina....a petite, sweet, charcoal/white, 4-5 yr old, 10 lb Shih Tzu, who came to Lhasa Happy Homes via the San Bernardino Shelter with a broken pelvis. Our vet xrayed her and she was pretty jacked up....but with cage rest and lots of TLC, she will recover without surgery! Lucky girl! It never ceases to amaze me how these dogs, obviously used for breeding (because they are so adorable) are used and then kicked to the curb when they are no longer advantageous to the owners. Scared to death in the shelter...she has settled down and is a little love bug. These pictures don't do her any justice, as she is just a doll in pink ribbons! She loves toys, she gives sweet little kisses and loves to be with you. It's hard to tell her activity level at this point, because she needs to stay settled...but she is able to go for short walks without issue. It's actually hard to get her to stay put. Boy does she love her chewies!!! She is also a good little eater. Sarina likely would be good in any home, except one that would leave her alone all day. We also would not put her in a home with young children, as she was a little snippy when she was in the shelter...out of fear! She would be great as a pampered pooch who gets all the love and attention...or with a buddy canine. The most important thing in Sarina's life is love!! Do you have some extra unconditional love to give? Sarina is waiting. She will be available in February.
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Most every Sunday, unless we are doing a special event, we are at Century City Mall (10250 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles 90067 behind the Concierge Booth near Brooks Bros) from 12-4pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
