Jessie's Story...
Jessie is a pure bred mini Australian shepherd about 4 years old. She did come from a unknown breeder is very shy; she warms up but it just takes her a little while. You can see it in those big dark eyes. She is not aggressive at all. . Jessi would do well in a quieter home, but one with a fenced yard , just in case she gets scared and run! No young kids, she is not used to the noise. She will warm up but they need someone with time and patience to work with her. She is kennel trained and loves the comfort of a kennel and have not had any accidents as long as i let her out every few hours. . If you are interested in meeting Jessi please call/text 816-898-5646 or email barkindogs1@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
