Ava-Adopted!'s Story...
Ava was surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for her. Ava was surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for her. She is a very well mannered younger dog that likes to be near you indoors. She has not shown any aggression towards the Doxie at her foster home and has not chewed anything that isn’t for her. Ava takes her treats very gently and is very loving. She does like to run and play outside and can be vocal as is typical of the Husky breed. Ava also loves to go on daily walks and will make a good walking companion. Birth date 2/11/13

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava-Adopted!, a Detroit Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
