My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Chloe! I'm about 5 years old and weight 14 pounds.
Are you looking for a new best friend? A buddy to play frisbee with? Someone to keep you company on hikes in the woods or walks in the park? Do you find yourself wishing you had a lap-warmer on these chilly winter evenings? Well look no further because I'm your girl! I absolutely LOVE to play - in fact, my foster mom says I might be good at something called "agility." But I also can occupy myself with an interesting toy and I settle down nicely and love cuddling and getting belly rubs.

I still need to work on some of my manners, but I've heard my foster mom say I'm very smart (I could've told her that!) and I love our training sessions (who wouldn't - it involves treats!). If you have the time and patience to give to me now I promise I'll be the most loyal friend you have.

Update on Chloe: Chloe is such a love. She's also a very smart cookie and knows how to sit prettily. She comes when called, and knows the commands "drop it," "leave it," and she waits to be invited to jump up on your lap. We've recently learned that she loves to go on hikes in the woods. We are crate training her and working on house training.
Chloe may be okay with a single, confident canine sibling.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
