I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Katie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Katie's Story...
"Katie is a 2 year old purebred female German Shepherd dog with a unique background. She and her brother, Tate, were raised outdoors in an environment with limited exposure to new people and things. Their education about the world has been limited to a back yard pen, so they are curious and eager to learn more about the outside world. In other words, they are big (VERY BIG) puppies!

Our goal is to place each or both dogs with an experienced foster or adopter who is willing to continue their training and transition to a family home. They have received wonderful care, along with some socialization and training, and are now ready to go to a qualified home to continue their transition.

Applicants for one or both dogs must have a fenced, secure yard - Katie and Tate love their outdoor play time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Homewood German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Homewood, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
