Meet Porky a 6 yr old boy who has lived his entire life outside. He was rescue by The Backyard Dog Project when his owners no longer wanted him. SASS was contacted and he is now in a foster home doing very well and looking for a home of his own.

When he came to us the first thing he got was a full spa treatment and was groomed for the first time in his life. What we found under a full coat of dirty fur was a stunning dog. He seemed so happy to have all that fur off, a nice bath, warm bed and kind people.

Porky will need to go to a home with a fenced yard as we don't ever want him confined to a chain again. He deserves to be able to play in a secure yard with his family and possibly another dog.

Porky will be neutered,up to date on vaccinations,, heartworm tested, on flea &; Heartworm preventative and microchipped before going to his new home

If you would like to meet Porky please complete an application by going to www.sassrescue.com/downloads and either submit by email or you may fax it to 937-933-4066. Once we receive your application you will be notified if it has been approved and we can schedule a visit at that time.

The best means of communication is email as we are a small group of volunteers that work full time jobs and cannot always answer phone calls.
