My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

9+ year old Janey's owner passed away and the remaining family did not want Janey. She was left at a high volume shelter by them - awaiting a sure death in the hands of kind strangers. Well - we couldn't let that happen-so when the shelter asked if we could help Janey, we said yes - and she is now safe and sound in our care. Janey is blind - chronic dry eye has taken it's toll on her vision. But, that doesn't seem to bother Janey one bit, like all blind dogs, her other senses have taken over and she gets around just fine. This is NOT a disabled dog, but her eyes do require artificial tears and drops several times a day to keep her comfortable. Janey has a big stuffed teddy bear that she likes to cuddle with - - - and she is absolutely a sweetheart.
