My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TIFFANY
8 year old Female White Cornish Rex
COURTESY POST

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Hello, my name is Tiffany and I am a White Cornish Rex girl. I was born on September 18, 2006. I am told that I am a sweet and silly cat. I admit I am a little scaredy cat at first. It just takes me a little longer to adjust to a new environment and my new human. I came from a cattery where I wasn’t picked up and carried around. I just need some time to get used to my new surroundings, but I can assure you that once I get used to my new home and to my new human, I will become quite attached.
I like to follow my human to the bathroom or the laundry room. I watch her through the grate in the door and I cry for her while I am separated from her. I also do silly things when someone pays me attention. For example, when I get excited I turn the front half of my body completely upside down, while my back half remains in a normal upright standing position. I am told it is quite a feat and looks a little silly, so you see, you’ll surely be entertained by me.
I think I have a bit of a food fetish. I believe that any food the other cats have must be better than my food, so I try to get to theirs first before I eat my own. Well ok, I have to admit that I have somewhat of a sweet tooth. If cupcakes or other sweet food is left uncovered, I have been known to lick off the frosting. Yummy!
What else can I tell you about me? Sometimes I may lose some of my fur, usually around the shoulders, but it always grows back in time. I have to admit that I am a bit high-strung and probably wouldn't do well in a home with small children. But given enough time and gentle love, I know I will adjust to the right environment.
Although my human loves me very much, there is a male cat that likes to be the center of attention, and I am a little lost in the mix. My human is not able to give up the other cat because he has a difficult personality and would have a hard time finding a new home. Because I am a special girl, my human thinks I will be able to find a home where I can be appreciated and blossom into a loving kitty and not have to play second fiddle to a needy cat.
Oh, I love it when I get ¼ of a can of wet food twice a day – what a treat that is, and I am extremely fastidious about my litter box. I need to have it cleaned every day, I am sure you can understand why.
Do you have it in your heart to give me my forever home and allow me time to get to know, trust and love you?
