Hi there. My name is Ranger. I am about 1 year old and I weigh about 25 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Lisbon area and brought in to the pound.
I am a very sweet, but timid boy. I act as if I have a good bit of some herding breed of dog in me. I am very quick and I dodge anything coming at me. I don't seem to be nippy with people, just a bit skittish and head shy. It is quite possible that I was abused. Anytime someone tries to get me I cower or run to a corner and hide. If you give me a little time to warm up and learn that you are a nice person, I am a very, very sweet boy. I love to cuddle and get belly rubs.
I love people. I get along great with other dogs. I really love to play with other dogs and would be a great play mate for another young dog who needs a friend!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
