My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAFE Class XVII is now in session. Seven shelter dogs are having the times of their lives, learning, playing, and receiving lots of TLC at WKCC (Western KY Correctional Complex). They will be crate trained, housetrained, able to walk on a loose leash, able to respond to commands, and they will learn some tricks to entertain and amaze. The dogs are spayed/neutered, on flea & tick and heartworm preventative, up to date on all vaccinations, and fully vetted. The adoption fee is $150.00 and you may request an application at safehavenky@gmail.com. The deadline for completing an application has been extended to March 20. Lucky Chucky is my name and fun is my game! And let me tell you something, I AM very Lucky, just like my name says. I am loving this place where I get two square meals a day (That's right, just two. Thee ladies watch my weight and two is sure better than the NONE I was getting as a stray---that's why I guard my food---it used to be very hard to come by.). I am pretty active and would like to have an adopter who would walk me every day. I am getting really good on the treadmill, but I sure do enjoy the outdoors. I like to think of myself as just a nice, regular guy who is easy-going (except with my food, but I'm working on that) and lots of fun.
