Hi there! So nice to meet 'cha! My name is Dominic and I would love to tell you a little bit more about myself so that we can get to know each other better!
I am a 12 week old male Bull Dog / Pit Bull mix who came to NBSAR when my previous owner dropped me and my 5 siblings off at the police department cause we were an "oops!" litter. It was a very scary day for us, but luckily for myself and by brothers and sister we found great foster homes with NBSAR and Misfit Angels Rescue!
My very nice foster mommy took me to the doggy doctor where I got a clean bill of health! I got my first puppy vaccines (ouch!) was de-wormed (yuck!) and went home to get some good num nums in my belly and take a warm snooze! I'm a shy fella,and wasn't treated very well as a puppy - I flinch and cower to the floor when you move quickly around me so it's going to take me a little bit to learn how to trust that people won't hurt me ever again. Don't worry though - I'm well on my way to falling in love with my foster mom and her dog Daphne...they're the bestest and have helped me feel right at home in my foster home!
I will be neutered and microchipped the second week of February and will get my second set of puppy shots as well. Until then, I'm looking forward to romping, playing, and learning new things with my foster family as I look for my fur-ever home. I would really love a fur-ever home with a fenced yard and kids 10+.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
