Mike's Story...
Hey there, I'm Mike! I'm a cute little man who was born on October 17, 2013! My mom was found lost in Green Bay, WI, when she was very VERY pregnant with my brothers and I! She gave birth to us while in custody of Animal Control, and we were transferred to a foster home at Happily Ever After right away! Our foster home taught us what it's like to live in a real, live home instead of in a shelter or out on the street! We are happy go lucky brothers, who love to snuggle and play! We would make a wonderful addition into any home, and are looking forward to finding our forever homes soon! Please stop by HEA's Adoption Station at Petco West in Green Bay to meet us soon! High fives, Mike

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mike, a Green Bay Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
