Here is what else Bubba's foster family had to say:
Bubba is a slow-to-warm puppy. With any new people, Bubba appears shy, but give him time and let him warm up to you and he will soon be your best friend, aiming to please. We do not know how Bubba interacts with children, however we do not anticipate children being a problem. Bubba is not an aggressive puppy in the least. Bubba interacts appropriately with other dogs on leash during walks and off leash at dog parks. Bubba has not had any interaction with cats.
Bubba is generally quiet in the home and his favourite things are playing fetch, getting cuddled and watching his people. He is curious and interested in whatever you are doing. Bubba is curious, however is not destructive. He has not tried to steal food, counter surf or significantly chew things he shouldn't. He knows his basic commands such as Sit, Stay, Down, and No and some tricks such as High Five! When Bubba is in puppy mode, his knowledge and performance regarding basic commands is diminished, just like any other young and learning pup. He is fully house trained. We do not crate him as there is no need to. Bubba loves his leash and knows exactly what it is for. Bubba attempts to bolt outside if the door is opened, because he loves his outdoor environment, not because he has escaping tendencies. Bubba genuinely loves to run laps in his backyard.
Bubba needs a family with energy, compassion and cuddles to give. Bubba asks for patience but gives kisses for all of your hard work too! He would do best in a home with a backyard with room to run around and fetch for his humans. Bubba is able to stay home alone during the day between 8-10 hours without having an accident. Bubba is content with a few stuffies, comfy bed and bed to keep himself busy all day. He would fit well into just about any environment where there was enough love and time for play and exercise.
