Hello! My name is Cheri and I am a small, 7-8 yr. old lemon & white beagle mix that weighs 14 lbs. I was found doing what beagles do best: exploring! I was taken to a shelter in Maryland and then rescued by Penny Angels.
I am currently living in a foster home, but need to find my very own place to live. This is what my foster mommy has learned about me so far: My favorite activity is napping, either on your lap or on a very cozy dog bed nearby. I love to be a part of the family and will follow you all over the house offering support. I will even help you clean the kitchen floor! I get very excited to see you and will nuzzle and bounce and squeak with joy. I am not a ‘chatty’ dog and prefer to snort and squeak instead of bark or bay. I am almost potty trained and am working really hard to learn basic commands like how to sit.
My favorite game is the treat puzzle ball, but I also enjoy scavenger hunts! I get along with dogs, cats, and kids of all ages. However, since I am a small and very calm gal, I would really like a home with either an older couple or a family with kids over 10 years old. I would also love my furry family to be calm and more on the adult side so that we can talk about ‘those darn kids’ and how music is just not what it used to be. I will probably be at Petsmart on Saturdays so that I can try to sniff out my new family.
