Angel's Story...
Zoey and Angel

These two sweethearts came to the sanctuary when their human mom became too ill to care for them anymore.

We are told they are sisters, which means they could have come from the same litter or they have been raised together. They are approximately 4 years old, spayed and up to date on shots.

Angel, the black and white one, is the more out-going and adventurous of the two. She is also the smallest at almost 4 lbs.

Zoey, fawn in color, is very shy and a bit timid yet. She looks to Angel for approval and guidance. She weighs in at about 7 ½ lbs.

They both would do well in a home with minimal excitement and a loving caring family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Port Clinton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Port Clinton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Port Clinton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Clinton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Clinton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Clinton paves the way for another one to be saved.
