I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Fletch is a Shepherd mix who's neutered and about a year old. This handsome fellow is a tawny hue with just a hint of a darker ridge back. Fletch can be a little timid when first approached but once he meets you and is "out and about," he is a playful, happy soul. Fletch really likes soft squeaky toys and prefers interaction with humans when at play, he almost fetches but isn't quite sure he wants to give them back. Fletch exhibits intense concentration when focusing on his toy which should be utilized in further training. He sits nicely, but not for long as he is still very much a puppy. Fletch is a surrender and it's reported he's good with other dogs, cats and kids of all ages. It's also reported he's not fully house trained (still has accidents) and not leash trained but did pretty well on his morning walk. He walked at forward, exploring the snow, but didn't tug or pull. Fletch is on the smaller side but is high energy and will need regular and energetic exercise to keep him happy and healthy. For a play date with Fletch you can stop into the rescue any day between 11am and 4pm.
If you want to apply for Fletch click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
