Hi, I'm Rascal a sweet Chow/Shar Pei mix who was rescued from Animal Services. I'm a big teddy bear who loves to sleep, cuddle, lay on your lap, get my ears rubbed and eat treats. I was assessed by a trainer who said I was afraid and neglected as far as being taught how to act and who is in charge. This trainer has been working with me and I've learned a lot and I'm now ready for adoption. I get along with some dogs. So if you have a canine companion in the home, please bring him/her so we can do a meet and greet. I would do best in an adult only home. I got to go into a foster home for a week or so and proved I am the perfect house boy. My manners are excellent and I go to the door to let you know I need to go out. Unfortunately my foster sister just did not want me around so I could not stay. I'll be waiting for my forever family to come and take me home.
*Thank you to Sharon C. for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life.
