My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winnie is a small 2-3 year old Chihuahua or Papillon or Chinese Crested mix. She weighs about 7 pounds. She is extremely friendly and would make a great companion dog for the right person/people. She would like to spend most of her time on your lap or next to you. She is being fostered with both cats and dogs (big and small) and tolerates everybody. She is more focused on her people than she is other animals. She is fine with all people, but she is very dainty and may not be a good fit for living with very small children. She would be fine with kids of all sizes that come to visit as long as the kids don’t mind some kisses. She does need a little bit of training (sits, walking on leash) and her foster mom is working on those. She is nearly house broken but is still settling in so there may be more work to do in a new home. She is willing to go outside and potty and does well in a crate so finalizing her house breaking should not be much of an issue. She is just a happy go lucky girl who is very grateful to be out of the shelter.
Winnie is fostered in Madison, AL. To meet her, please complete our application at www.FORrescue.net, click on resources. You may also inquire by emailing info@FORrescue.net
